The Executive Committee of the Lithuanian American Community, Inc. has a separate account to accept gifts and donations for the support of fostering democracy in Lithuania. The account is called The Lithuanian American Community, Inc.-Support Democracy in Lithuania Fund (LAC Democracy Fund). The donations support the work of Citizens Alliance, a nongovernmental, non-partisan, democracy-fostering organization registered in Lithuania. The Chair of the receiving Citizens Alliance Fund is American-born Gintė Damušytė, Lithuania's ambassador to Canada.
